Introducing The Verdigis Series

Introducing The Verdigis Series

the verdigis series is a collection of works of deep colours in mind using mixed media in some and brings a small transition to the use of knives in the paint application but still retaining the brush. the thought behind these painting was the strong association in breaking down hues to form a balance in the piece yet ensuring a striking tone . i like to when starting a piece to play about a little with the formation and design of a piece before settling on the finish desired finish ,sounds confusing when written down but take a look and see for yourself all are oil on canvas ready streched and ready to hang in a modern fashion .all comment are welcome .the series consists of 12 works .

Introducing The Fragment Series

so the fragments series consists of 16 artworks by brian buckley 10 of which are in gallery here .these works are abstract in nature and i suppose simply are various colours broken down into fragments and applied in a definite style trying to capture a balanced feel to the work.the main medium here is oils and i like them to dry naturally as to not dimish the colour in the piece .
these are all on streched canvas and are of various sizes ready to hang in a modern style .i probably will return to this series in the future.this series was done for people who like colour as a feature in art and who prefer a neutral background to the painting .i hope you enjoy them .
prints if u like are available and there are some original pieces for sale as well ..

be good
